Well, if you're talking evidence, I see zero evidence that Lott is currently a racist. Unless of course you define a racist like the Democrats do, which is anyone who disagrees with the Democratic social engineering programs that hurt minorities more than help.

Lott lost it when he enthusiastically supported quotas on the BET. A real Republican would have said "no, I'm against affirmative action as it's now used by the Left, it does more harm to minorities than good, and here's why." Heck, I was half expecting him to come out for reparations. The man is useless as a Republican any more.
