Looting the country, and loving it.

Heh, heh, heh. Time for a good ol' rant.

Any decent person would be aware a guy who is participating in the looting of the Medicare system to the tune of almost a billion dollars ain't a valuable resource. No one with a sense of decency could avoid that conclusion. No one who loved their country would tolerate someone treating it this way.

$880 million in fraud (frôd) n. 1. A deception deliberately practiced in order to secure unfair or unlawful gain. (Ashcroft will not notice the crimimal aspect of this. Won't see it. Nope. Not there.)

Fraud is a felony. It's not nice. Takes forethought, planning, and intent to deceive for UNLAWFUL gain. Tell me there aren't a helluva lot of blacks in the slam for life for a lot less. Ashcroft can see that.

But Frist is Republican and the darling of conservatives. So he's in the Senate, not in jail. In the grand tradition of Ollie North and John Poindexter he's avoided the slam. By condoning, almost glorying in, Bush the Second's and Cheney's stock manipulations, and now Frist's fraud, you guys have given up any moral high road.

I will agree there is no relative morality. There is no fiscal morality at all in the Republican leadership, so I guess you can say there's no relative morality. Just a standard for the ROW which doesn't exist for conservatives.

When the laws can be used to plunder, the plunderers will make the laws. And when they break the laws faster than they can make them, with help from the suckers conservatives will exempt themselves from the consequences.

Arf (as if that weren't enough, now watch 'em continue to loot the gov't with more tax breaks for the very wealthy)
