...You got me good that time! When remembering Davis' crappy handling of the energy crisis, I had forgotten that the original regulations were instigated under Wilson's watch, and incidentally, with the enthusiastic support of the power companies. I don't know if the consumer price freeze, which put a penny in the energy market fuse box, was part of the initial plan in which case Wilson should certainly have known better, or if it was enacted later. Anyone have info on this?
I still stand by my statement: Republican or not, the plan was still a dog's breakfast.
