And Bush is supposed to do what in your opinion? Increase our tax burden? Start some new companies? Do you even know what makes an economy work? Bush is not an Emperor, he's the head of the executive branch of the government, and only a socialist would think it was his job to run the economy. The best thing the government can do is stay out of the way, and cut our taxes.
