Seriously, note that the Clinton News Network does not actually say that the ethics changes were the REASON that the Democrats tried to kill the rule changes. Hey, they eat pizza too. And I can see a few other items on this list that could easily piss off the Democrats, although that would be a convenient excuse to make the Republicans look bad. As one example, the rule on dynamic scoring on the Ways and Means Committee reports would be a top candidate for Democratic ire.
