Current Events » in reply to Andrew Sullivan says it better

We have pretty much telegraphed our 350,000 man punch haven't we.

Almost makes you wonder why:

Does the added time for Sadam to muster his forces make them easier to find and destroy?

Does the Pentagon need months and months and months to work out every last micro-managed detail of the operation?

Are we out of ordinance and we needed the time to produce more "smart" weapons?

Is Iraq really the target?

Is the State Department undermining the operation along with the UN?

At any rate, the writing is on the wall: The only thing that would stop an invasion would be if Sadam were to step down and take the Baeth Party with him.
