Current Events » in reply to Saddam's human shields showing up in droves. Or maybe that should be flocks.

Never underestimate stupidity...

...also always learn to take advantage of it, instead of letting it work against one.

Now, if I knew that a bunch of hare brained folks would tree-sit, er, I mean munitions factory sit - I would exploit that weakness. I would plant my own people into these organizations with sophisticated GPS and Milstar information uplinks. As you said... it is amazingly easy to approach the Iraqi consulate as an antiwar activist!

;-)

So that when the bombs start falling you can have ground confirmation of strikes and can hustle those empty-cavity cranium type-folks out of harms way through deception.

In fact, the spaced-out protestors will give perfect cover - because they always look a bit strange anyway.

Ironically, they can serve as a useful tool. Also if they indeed are going to be used as hostages - which they would as soon as the war starts - it would be really handy to have... say some folks from the 5th Special Forces group or similar quality personnel in there undercover.

;-)

PS
I all too well remember Saddam holding the young British boy like Santa Claus?
Some folks never learn - and other folks learn A LOT.

(Yes, my mind is twisted -using antiwar activists to shield a wolf...how sinister...or wait...that's exactly what they are doing.)
