Yes, Frank and those 18-30 year olds are young men and women that I would prefer living their lives rather than giving them.
I went into the service with the same objective my father before me had. I would do my duty and serve my country with the hope my children would not also have to bear that burden.
Having been trained for war, I yearn for peace. And, I tend to Carl von Clauswicz's view of war as a continuation of politics by other means.
I don't take it lightly that Bush II is willing to use the children of America as a CYA for his political failure.
