Looks like they have no idea what Israel has become. A friend of mine went there recently and the moods are much tougher than 20 years ago. People get nervous breakdowns, anxiety, fear just about any unusual noise.
On the other hand, there are plenty of villages all over France that are charming, peaceful, with warm weather!
