Well then Interfax should have also stated
that the US has already promised Russia that Lukoil and Russian companies will get a healthy slice of the oil contracts in the post-Saddam Iraq, plus Iraq will make good on its debt to Russia.
Had to make similar promises to the French...
(In any case the Iraqi people will see a hell of a lot more of the oil revenue then than they do now under Saddam!)
