Let's hope so.

Nato's sole purpose for being founded was to defend Western Europe against the USSR and Warsaw Pact. Neither of which exist now. It is now nothing more than a bunch of military bureaucrats desperately trying to find busy work to keep them in their cushy jobs. Nato's mission is over, it won, now let the old solders fade away.
