That line is classic. If you look at the rampant unhappiness of the left you feel it must be a prerequisite for membership.
It reminds me of an old Cadillac slogan:
"Do people who drive Cadillacs get more out of life or do people who get more out of life drive Cadillacs?
Do people hold leftist views because they are depressed or do people become depressed after holding leftist views?
That is the question!
