Maybe if the Palestinians quite blowing up Israelis...

there could be a chance for peace. It's a bit much to reach out with an olive branch when someone is intent on killing you. If the Palestineans had 1/4th of a brain between them, they could've won long ago using non-violent protests. Instead, they keep attacking Israel and Isreal keeps hitting back.

If one of your neighbors kept attacking Belgium, would you just turn the other cheek and let them continue? Would you cave in to their demands or would you hit back? If you can't honestly say that Belgium would do nothing in response to repeated attacks, then you're unreasonable to say that Israel should do so.

Arafat was offered just about everything he demanded but walked away because he didn't get 100+% of what he wanted. Tell me, what rational person goes around expecting to get everything he wants all of the time? If you want to blame anyone, start with Arafat and the Palestineans. Israel, like every other nation, has the right to self defense.
