Colin Powell and the "Message From Bin Laden." Say what?
Okay, now this all about? While there is a lot of circumstantial evidence connecting Iraq to terrorism, I don't place a lot of weight on messages delivered via Al-Jazeera, especially messages supposedly from bin Laden, who I would bet two weeks' pay is currently pushing up whatever would be the Afgan equivalent of daisies. And now Al-Jazeera says there ain't no such tape.
Powell isn't gullible, and doesn't make stupid mistakes. Why hang his neck out like this? I don't get it. Is there something I'm missing?
