How long would a protesting lesbian last on the streets of Iraq?

Where was this protest? If it was in Europe, they have a lot of nerve showing the US flag equaling a swastika. If it wasn’t for the US, most of Europe would be ruled by the swastika.

At my bus stop, a couple of High School kids had plastered several sheets of paper all over the place. The paper said, “War is not the answer” along with a picture of a nuclear explosion. Don’t they realize that if Iraq produces nuclear weapons, gives them to the terrorist and they smuggle them into this country, that is what they will see one day- in their own backyard.

I was thinking yesterday about why Bush wants Saddam ousted out of Iraq. It’s not about oil. It’s not even about liberating the Iraqis from their oppressors. It is about 9/11.

The terrorist attack against America that happened just a year and a half ago was the worst thing this country has seen. President Bush feels a deep responsibility in this. He cares about America and he wants to make damn sure something like that never happens to his country again.

He has something on Iraq. His Intelligence has something showing that Iraq is a threat to America. He’ll do what it takes to protect his country.

It wouldn’t surprise me if our military forces and talk of invasion is more of bluff at this point. If our first intention was to invade Iraq, we would have done it by now. I think military action will be our last resort. Bush is trying other ways of ousting Saddam. He is hoping this show of force will convince Saddam to step down. If all else fails, then the US will use force to oust Saddam, and the US military will do it’s best to keep civilian casualties low- which is more than I can say about Saddam.
