I'll break this down for you into its pure propaganda form. Each Rense article is like a mathematic equation that can be reduced into a simpler form.

I am a career employee of the federal government in Washington, D.C. For most of the last 30 years, I have worked in offices within two miles of the nation's great landmarks: the Washington Monument, the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, the Smithsonian Institution, the White House, and the Capitol. Just across the Potomac River is the Pentagon.

This is the deep throat allusion ...the hey I'm connected bit of nonsense folks who aren't connected feel they need to add credibility to the forthcoming ridiculous assertions. Unfortunately, being a federal government employee means you can be the trash collector in DC.

For the record also, by their fruits they shall be known. Anytime anyone starts off with such a premise, you can bet the reverse is true - that they have absolutely NO connection - and wish they did. They know the readers are willing and wanting to believe - so they don't have too high a hurdle to jump. By just mentioning tourist locations in Washington DC area this chap figures he's covered enough...and for the Rense crowd he has.

The author didn't mean to do it but with this line he has immediately put himself outside the loop. He clearly is not CIA, FBI or Military - and they way he refers to them in very much a layman's manner. Which as all the more unsettling when he continues with his assertions.

Al Qaeda operatives were recruited as foot soldiers, and the Al Qaeda network was exploited to create a financial trail, but the role of Osama bin Laden had to have been slight, if he had a role at all. Remember too that Al Qaeda was created by MI6 and the CIA to fight the Soviet Union in Afghanistan in the 1980s.

Here we see the author throwing out random assertions, totally contrary to the mountains of evidence linking the 9-11 events to Al Qaeda and Saudi fanatics. Afghan rebels were supplied with weapons during the Afghanistan occupation. The policy worked very well and kept the USSR stalemated. Here he also is undetermined as to Osama's role and throws out opinions as to how small a role he played.


All these things must now change. A new phase in the assault against the U.S. Constitution by its domestic enemies is about to begin. President Bush is as much a victim of the Money Power as he is a perpetrator. He simply does not have the knowledge or background to know what to do, and he is surrounded by a cabal of truly nefarious characters who are constantly goading him into action. This cabal includes the present leadership of the Israeli government and the Likud Party"

Ah the Jews and the cabal of nefarious characters. These authors are constantly vacillating as to who the real bad guys are and like a poor marksmen - hit none of the real targets. The Carlysle group, the Likud Party, George Bush senior, etc. A few years ago Reagan and Ollie North figured more prominently in these conspiracies - anyone who made the evening news.

Israel gets several billion in cash and weapons yearly from the US. Their intelligence services are infiltrated with our agents - as ours is with theirs. Plotting 9-11 simply couldn't and wouldn't happen without it being well known. The way 9-11 suceeded was in the fact that it was planned in Germany and by terrorists with whom we have never had a historically robust intelligence gathering system within. A handful of agents assigned to this group and none of them on the inside.

That some factions in Israel exploit the terrorists activities for gain is obvious. However, to make the leap from that to the assertion that they really planned 9-11 takes a leap of faith like jumping from one side of Niagara Falls to the other.

The second part, makes an appeal for an anti-semite's attention, by immediately asserting the jews control America. The Jews are not controlling America anymore than the Saudis, the Turks or the English. Each nation and each faith has a certain influence in government. Bush whose evangelical Christian rebirth follows the Graham style makes it hard to believe that he is an agent of ANY Jewish plots. In fact you will recall how much Bush was criticised for not being Clinton and rushing to the middle east to try and get the peace process moving.

In fact Israel stands to gain a lot and yet lose a lot when Iraq is democracized. The money and weapons they now receive will be rolled back dramatically. Their influence in government will be reduced as will their political power which is based on being the only democratic ally in the middle east.

No, the jews are not behind 9-11, nor are the christians or the muslims. 9-11 is the result of radical-muslim terrorists. who already had hijacked a plane once recently, carrying a US ambassador, back in 2000 from Yemen and demanded to be taken to Baghdad, protesting the UN sanctions and tough stance against Saddam. Not very well planned the craft did not have fuel to go to Baghdad and the pilots convinced them to land sooner where he was captured and arrested.

There are more than enough REAL inside scoops to be gotten by subscribing to Foreign Policy Review, Strategy Reviews, International Weapons Proliferation journals, etcetera - and not having to read the many and varied Joe Blow's off the street interpretation of world events in Rense.com and other website conspiracy sites.
