You gotta know that eventually our tax dollars will sponsor PBS's presentation of this despicable BBC series that portrays the Brit cold war spies as heros. Their actions DIRECTLY led to the deaths of western agents and enabled the USSR to hang a nuclear sword of Damocles over our heads for decades, prolonging the misery of the cold war. Of course only the Eastern Europeans can truly appreciate that misery. Western Europe enabled by the blood of US soldiers and the Marshall Plan earnings of US wage earners enjoyed unparalleled good times post WWII.

This hypocracy and left wing bias of the BBC is illustrated by this simple thought experiment. Imagine a highly touted TV series glorifying WWII spies for Nazi Germany that enabled the Nazis to carry out their Final Solution horror a few years longer.
