I think the more interesting point made in this article is that it demonstrates the immense patronizing contempt that the Leftist Elite has for the average person. You know...the "Flyover People." The "rednecks."

This is particularly obvious when you see how they deal with minorities. Of course without the patronization of the Left, minorities could not possibly succeed on their own, right? Some of these liberal elitists seem to have all they can do to refrain from patting the nearest black person on the head.

The Leftist Elite feels in the marrow of their bones that most people are hapless idiots who can survive and prosper only if ruled by their obvious intellectual superiors...for their own good of course...with a gentle but iron hand. Whatever Fisk thinks of Gregg Aykins, you can bet that he is firmly convinced that Cameraman Number Two could not possible have any idea what he is talking about compared to Fisk's own brilliant insights into reality.

Fisk doesn't really see any of this of course. It's one of those famous liberal "blind spots." He perceives it only as a failure of the Left to properly "educate" the Little People they way he thinks they ought to be. Doesn't he himself invite the lesser folk to his lectures that they may bask in the brilliant solar radiance shining forth from his ass?
