Pretty much everyone saw that coming
I knew it was dead when I saw the price tag. At $500 it might have worked. For that same $5,000 you can get a really nice Vespa or other motorbike that will go 300 miles on a tank of gas. Heck, even electric scooters can go up to 30 miles.
