In totalitarian and authoritarian nations, where "everyone is equal" (it says so, right on the label!), the leadership has always lived in luxury while the people scrape by. Been that way since kings wore mastadon fur.
This is hardly big news. And Arafat's wealth has been an open secret for a long time, not that it makes a dent in the anti-Israel crowd.
