Cory seems to have overlooked the rains of blood, hordes of frogs, and plagues of locusts that will also certainly befall us.

One of the fun things about having a Republican administration is watching the leftists fall onto their backs, kick all four limbs wildly in the air, and gibber until the foam from their mouths runs into their ears. Cory is no exception.

They are going to get even more bizarre in the next year. Watch for it.

The Left lives on pain. They gain power when people are suffering, poor, angry, and oppressed. They lose power when people are prosperous, contented, confident and empowered. People sometimes wonder why the Left promotes social programs that seem to do no more than create a permanent disaffected underclass. I don't.

Cory's worst nightmare is that the Iraq campaign will work, and that none of his horrible predictions will come true. Even worse would be conversions into capitalist democracies not only in Iraq, but across the Middle East. No pain, no power.
