I do feel there is a strong argument for Saddam being in violation of 1441 and taking him out now, but the situation now and then are not exactly analogous. Were Saddam in the middle of a genocidal rampage a la Milosovic '99 I have no doubt the rest of the world would be shoulder to shoulder with us on this, and the voices of dissent from the Dems would not be so loud.
