Re: do the Democrats think that the US shouldn't be the most powerful nation on Earth?

'Asked what would have happened if he was still President or if Al Gore had taken the White House, Clinton said that the economy would have slowed, but added: "Would it have been as bad as it is now? I don't think so." '

At least he is fairly honest about that, but I think he is wrong about Gore, we be in big trouble if Gore was in charge

'On the issue of Iraq, Clinton said he supports booting dictator Saddam Hussein out of Baghdad and destroying his weapons, but he said Bush has made it more difficult to line up international cooperation for a possible war.'

This might be right, but it's difficult to know, 20/20 hindsight might make you want to try other routes, but I couldn't say what way would actually have been better. I think Clinton as a politican animal might have done better, if he had a clue to the right direction to take. [And because he is liked by Europe, he would have had a big advantage- in other words if Clinton had the 9/11 and he had the brains with all the goodwill he had got, he could have done better. BUT *actually* what this really shows is how much Clinton has failed the America public- he had the power to do tremedous good for America, but chose to stay out of it. That is asuming, you want is a stronger UN and Saddam peacefully giving up his WMD].

' Right after winning UN Security Council support in November for weapons inspections, the White House "sent 150,000 troops to the gulf, which convinced everybody we weren't serious about UN inspections. That's how we got into this political mess."

You see, Clinton doesn't have the brains; without the troops we wouldn't be in same situation, he left it in. But Clinton could have use troops and made everyone happy- that's because he is talented Political Animal.

'The U.S. should be strengthening the UN and other "mechanisms of cooperation," Clinton said. "We need to be creating a world that we would like to live in when we're not the biggest power on the block." '

And this "proves" that Clinton is actually a democrat.
*Equal at all costs- including being mind twistingly stupid.*
