The Bush administration is pumping billions into Angola to rebuild the infrastructure of that country.
The damage that is being repaired was caused by the revolutionary guerrila war that was waged against the government by Jonas Savimbi and his UNITA forces.
The fun twist on this story is that the US funded Savimbi and UNITA.
And the Angola government held Savimbi to a stalemate by paying Cuba to supply them with 40,000 Cuban military mercenaries to fight for them.
