Pournelle and others raise the warning flags for war
From the Sunday entry on his website:
War Warning. I have from multiple sources that the war will begin within 36 hours now. At least one of the sources has been reliable in the past.
My friend Gary Hudson has slapped down 5 PM Monday, March 17, Pacific Time for a start time. I refuse to bet against him.
I, of course, flopped miserably with my "first week in March" prediction, having apparently underestimated the U.S. military's ability to deal with a full moon.
