The SBS are British special ops forces...
(Special Boat Service, formerly known as the Small Boat Squadron). They're the Royal Navy equivalent to the SAS (Special Air Service) and among the most elite military forces anywhere. Very studly dudes, very high on the "don't mess with them" list.
They almost certainly don't have any reporters tagging along, and special ops forces are pretty closed-mouthed about their operations. This story could well be true but we may not know for sure for some time.
On the other hand, in many ways, the war has been going on for a long time. There have been hundreds of missions in the no-fly zones in the past several weeks.
