I doubt that anyone has been changed by an internet forum. Even the young and malleable are more sure of their self than that.

I can remember when the difference in liberal and conservative was kind of fuzzy and nobody ever talked about it. The dems were FDR, war and prosperity. The GOP was Hoover and the depression. Goldwater was the first conservative and Adlai Stevenson was the first liberal. Still, neither were thought of as radical left or right.

Political correctness, runaway spending and cradle to grave entitlements have polarized the majority. Elitist social experimentation has expanded and ruined liberalism. Greed and religion has screwed the right. Both are tainted by the near death of honor and integrity.
