The socialists are screaming and kicking and hate a free, capitalist world. Dictatoships are peachy-keen because they resemble the govenment in Brussels.

Many socialist-euros (that sounds like a communicable disease;-) think diplomacy and laws are an end to themselves. Freedom is not so valued by folks who freely lay in obeissance to the state. In America, freedom is everything. The left would say "better red than dead" while the right says "better dead than red."

What we are really witnessing is a war between the ideology of the left and the right - and the left is losing. That is why they are screaming their heads off and ranting and raving. Socialists see the power they have wielded by manipulating "International Law" to their benefit - disappearing rapidly.
