I don't buy the Romulan bit and the ship theory was smashed at the Space Board. It's a known fact that Vulcans and Romulans hate each other.
The jacket demands attention and it's probably the latest thing in Spring fashions. Quilts became popular in the US during the war of independence.
As for alluding that the General is a Vulcan... more power to him. Logic is on our side. :)
