I don't recall hearing the commander in Chief ever putting a timeline on the war. The media certainly did during the first 2 days. The only thing I've heard from the Generals is that the outcome is certain and that it may take some time. Certainly there was hope by everyone that the regime would topple at the beginning. I still hope that it will be soon, but see no reason to press faster than relative safety permits.
