Well, I wouldn't count on any surrender
not, that is, if Saddam is still alive.
My hunch is that after we've bombed the crap out of the RG guarding Baghdad, and finished them off with our lethal ground forces, and enter the city, Saddam and his inner circle will retreat to his bunker and fight to the very end, possibly going out just like Hitler in 1945 but not with a poison pill and a pistol, rather in a blaze of Baathist glory via some horrific weapon that'll take a good chunk of Baghdad with him...hopefully we'll get some intelligence on the location and be able to finish him off with a bunker-buster first.
