“His statement followed a meeting at the UN headquarters in New York with US National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice on assistance for Iraq.“

Obviously there will be some well-publicized distributions, but nothing ongoing, nothing meaningful coming from the US. It will be a bit like the picture of the British soldier passing out candy. Whoop-de-doo!!!

As evidence – poor Kofi Annan was shunted off to Condaleezza Rice, the National Security Advisor. Not anyone who is involved in aiding anything except GWB. And herself.

Remember GWB in Japan, following the Afghan affair? Told ‘em the US destroyed the country, it was up to ROW to rebuild it.

Fair’s fair, right?

The US won't have the money. Unless somehow aid can be funnelled through Halliburton on a cost-plus basis. Then the Iraqi oil can pay those Texans. Maybe some wheat can trickle down.

(Ya gotta admit, we told you so on Halliburton, GWB, Cheney, and the kindnesses shown the Iraqi people and their oil.)

Heh, heh. Those conservatives and their compassion. Brings tears to your eyes.
