The media or the Administration? Read Dan's thread below titled "The Flaw in Shock and Awe." Clearly the Administration played up the Shock and Awe and Simultanity views of how the war would go.
The fact that we are suddenly commiting 120,000 more troops than were originally planned when the war started makes it clear the Bush/Rumsfeld rejection of the "overwhelming force" doctrine an obvious mistake.
