My grand uncle Jack (from Jamestown, NY) recited by heart the entire fable "Le corbeau et le renard" (the crow and the fox) in french, to my huge astonishment, back in 1990 when we visited him and our relatives!
A few days ago, my mom was on the phone with him and unfortunately, the war has caused a great shift between the US relatives and the Belgian ones. I hope it won't last.
