<The US was honest about it's self interest (security, protecting world's oil supply) while France, China, and Russia were not.
Sorry, but France, China and Russia had a logic of peace, the US and the UK a logic of war.
There was no timetable in 1441 to allow inspectors to complete their job and the US sent too many troops to the gulf for the 3 countries to believe that the US were willing to remain in the diplomacy arena.
Blaming others is always so easy, isn't it?
