No this news story was a republican making an honest comment about the ideological rigidity of his party.

No here is a republican who is actually serious about fixing the deficit and debt, and not just paying lip service to it while while increasing it with endless tax cuts for the wealthy.

Just for the record, the official Dem position has been long term debt reduction and short term job growth, but the GOP has been making the latter difficult with their bullshit austerity demands.
