The clues look bad for Saddam.

First of all, in none of the tapes seen after the attack on his HQ has he given any specific information indicating that the tape is current. Something as simple as holding up a current newspaper, or mentioning specifically something that happened that day.

Second, even his tapes are getting scarce.

Third--just saw this on Fox News--the man standing behind the Iraqi leader holding a press conference in the TV broadcast (I think he was the Defense Minister) turns out to be Saddam's personal bodyguard, a man Saddam apparently has almost never been seen without, and vice versa.
