How many French governments have there been since 1950

Probably over a hundred I would wager. I know there is more stability now but this was a lingering problem.

Our form of government is not perfect but I prefer it to parlimentary. The VP thing is potentially a problem but it could be dealt with if needed (both could be impeached). Our terms are short (four years) and changing governments for anything less than gross malfeasence is more disruptive than helpful.

The constitutional ammendment limiting the president to 2 terms corrected the biggest flaw.
