Re: Al Jazeera and NYSE & NASDAQ

Hello,
Raoul, I normally agree with what you have to say, but not this time.
Al Jazeera is not the "kind of television station Americans should encourage."
I acknowlege freedom of speech and their right to say what they want should not be infringed upon....but, at the same time, we have the power to decide what we "turn on" and what we "turn off." Many U.S. busniess and various entities have wisely chosen to "turn off" Al Jazeera.
If a company (or in this case a news agency) is not providing what people want or need then they will have to face the consequences.
The fact is, Al Jazeera is an extremly biased network with ties to terrorism.
It seems as if a majority of terrorists first send their "tapes" to Al Jazeera, and I have asked myself why? First because they know nothing will be done to discover their indentity and second because they know their tapes will be played.
I'm suprised they haven't wen't along with the Iraqies (sp?) and stated the U.S. is losing the war.
In less than two weeks mind you, the U.S. and the coalition forces are within striking distance of Baghdad, they control 95% of the skies, etc....
I can't wait for the city to be taken and the falsehoods of the Iraqi Government and the media that helps support their propaganda to be removed.
Eventually, the truth will come out and I am confident we (the coalition) are on the right side, i.e. we are not targeting civilians as reported by Al Jazeera and others. In fact we are doing everything possible to prevent civilian casualities - at the expense of a slower campaign. It is the Iraqi government that is placing civilians in military targets.
Anyway, I best stop now....
That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
See ya, VINCE
