This is a picture of an Iraqi man passing an Army checkpoint near Karbala Pfc. Garrett Alvin of Palmdale, Calif receives a kiss on the cheek from the man who had just been searched.

If this picture doesn't tell the whole story about this conflict or sway folks like Bowser, et and anyone else building up bile enough to melt a spoon, about what the Iraqi people feel is happening in Iraq, nothing will.

Garrett looks a little freaked out, but he seems to be taking it in stride. I looked for this image on the web and couldn't find it, but it made the front page of The Arizona Republic - naturally a more conservative paper.

So et and Bowser, etc...look at the picture, see the gratitude, feel the love and chill out.

We are the good guys. Iraqis are not the bad guys - a regime is being changed, WMD will no longer be a threat Saddam holds over the US and the region, the people will be freed from a twenty-five year nightmare. The Golden triangle and middle east peace wiil FINALLY be a reality. Bush, Powell, Cheney & Rumsfeld would share the Nobel peace prize, in a sane world.
