As I discussed in an earlier post, the evidence of the type of blast damage and the evidence of the serial numbers, assuming it was not falsified, seems to point to a HARM (anti-radar missile.) This is NOT a cruise missile, nor is it a guided bomb. It is a small missile launched from fighters, and homes in on an active radar signal of some kind.

Any study of whether or not this was a hoax has to at least proceed from that point, or it won't go anywhere.

I can think of a number of ways that such damage and evidence could be faked--we have been firing HARMs into radar facilities in the no-fly zones for years, and there must be a ton of debris handy--or ways that such a missile could be "faked" into the wrong target.

But there is no point in concluding that it was a hoax by simply proving it wasn't a cruise missile or guided bomb. Everybody already knows that.
