Is jessica lynch a hero? YES.. no matter what your opinions on this war are, she is a hero... <yeah this is a safe statement, I know> Even the most anti war protester cannot deny she is a hero....

But if the stories are true there is another hero...An Iraqi man that couldnet stand the barbarism and risked his life, as well as his families, to give us the info we needed to rescue her.... We need to remember that when we kill civilians, we kill some that have that much decency.... In Most cultures the majority are decent.... otherwise the culture would collapse....

As far as I am concerned we should offer that man whatever he asks for and multiply it by 100.... If what I have read is true then he should be given whatever life he chooses and a medal from the human race....

If the tale is true he has proven himself to be far more a better person than 99.99% of us can ever claim to be....

Talk about guts and morality! He stuck to what his religion, and humanity, taught him, in the end we are all just humans.....If you can stand and not care about the pain of others, then you are an animal....

He should get a life sentence to whatever his heart desires....

I hope the media continues to laud him....from what I have heard he may be one of the top heroes of this awful war!

A civillian risked his life to save a woman from the barbarity of his own country...not quite a schindler, but only because the numbers on his list were "1"...

But as heroes go, if this report is true then he is at the top.... No matter your opinion on the war he and his wife represent the best we can be....
They deserve special status here and a great life.....
I honestly would like to meet him.....
End Of Praise
