Many died from a bullet in the head. Wackjobs will blame the Mafia or something equally hysterical but this is just a sad foreboding of revelations of past Saddamist atocities to come as the fighting dies down. All such examples (just like Pol Pot's murder of MILLIONS) will be blithely ignored by the anti-war left, most of whom are at their core ideologs opposed to capatalism and American middle class culture.
