I am hearing that it is another raid.

For the first time the journalists in Baghdad have seen the Americans.
They talked about how the smoke from the Baathist-lit fires are heavily obscuring the view.
I think it is likely that the blackout and the fires are designed to hide the truth from the Iraqi people.
