Baghdad's "secrets" and Middle East leaders
Den Beste cites the always perceptive Ralph Peters' article on what intelligence we'll discover with siezure of Baath party documents. We'll have names and details of complicit Middle East leaders. Obviously, most of this we'll never see but I agree with Den Beste's speculation that we'll use the info to destroy one leader in order to sho that we can to the others and get them to fall in line. The biggest prize of this war is not going to be continued flow of oil to the West, it's going to be a total phase change in Middle Eastern international relations.
