OK, but.
I love this particular poem, and it bothers me a bit when it is used in a way that changes its meaning. So just to jam a pin in it:
The poem is intended to be a lesson to all of us, what our true place in the universe is. It is intended to show us how our grandiose visions of ourselves will be treated by posterity. It is pointed at the reader and is not intended as a cheap shot at Ozymandias (or Saddam).
In fact there are quite a few posters around here lately who this poem was probably intended to inform...
