Some would call that "journalistic objectivity"
But I wouldn't. Those media outlets and reporters who allow themselves to be prostituted by dictators in the pursuit of "access" are a discredit to an already disreputable profession*.
* I've seen surveys in recent years have rated journalists as being in the same category as used car salesmen and politicans when it comes to trustworthness. Methinks the profession needs to seriously reconsider how it gathers and presents the news. They have a vital function in society, one specifically protected by the Constitution, and they're blowing it.
