Bone To Pick

This author's attempt to diminish the significance of Abbas' capture is almost a bit offensive.

Stand face to face with the family of poor Leon Klinghoffer, Mr. Reynolds, and try to paint Abu Abbas as simply some washed up, old has-been of a terrorist who no longer poses a threat because he's not hip to the new generation of terrorism.

As far as what will become of Abbas, I certainly hope that Mr. Reynolds is wrong about him being turned over to the Italians.

The United States caught this murderer once before and allowed Italy to take him into custody. Then the Italian government set him free.

I hope that the Italian government is not afforded the opportunity to make the same mistake again.
