I don't think anyone was naive enough to think that dozens of fringe groups weren't going to suddenly pop up when the repression was gone.

It's also not surprising that this would include every Ayatollah wannabe who would have gotten a Saddam bullet between his eyes for talking like this a month ago. I have no idea who Sheik Ahmed al-Kubeisy is...I can't find anything on him, or where he hung out before this. I'm sure there are dozens like him who can't wait to start beating women and burning down movie theaters. We just have to hope most Iraqis are more sensible than this.

Then include in this mix vast herds of outside agitators from Syria, Iran, and elsewhere with the sole goal of screwing this operation up big time.

Add in a mainstream media DYING to show some form of Bush failure here, and you can see where it's going.
