GW2 is a continuation of GW1 because Iraq violated the terms of its truce. Iraq's GW1 victom Kuwait is strongly suppportive of this war.

I think this whole pre-emptive line is false. 911 happened. We are at war with terror as a result. That is not pre-emptive it is reactive. We have put all supporters of terrorism on notice that support of terrorism makes them allies of those that commited 911. As for Germany conducting a pre-emptive war that's baloney. It was conquest just like France's aggresive actions under Napolean, and Russia's defacto occupation of Eastern Europe. The clear difference in US intent will be demonstrated by what happens after the war just like what we did after WW2 which the French and Germans so easily forget.

By the way what's you excuse for France and Russia's change of herat on sanctions? They wanted them ended with Saddam in power, but not with him, out. Kind of outs the big lie about their interest in the welfare of Iraqis in my view.
